For several years, Caracole functioned with the dual mission of providing housing and information technology services. We are pleased to announce a major accomplishment in the evolution of our agency.

Caracole began the technology services because we saw the need to provide information technology services to nonprofit organizations and had the expertise in-house to develop them. Since their inception, the services have been parallel to Caracole’s primary mission, and we have planned to spin them off. That time has come: the projects have grown tremendously and belong in a community-based setting.

The Partnership Center, Ltd. is a broad-based community organization that intimately knows our technology services and has the expertise to carry these projects forward. We are in the process of transferring all of our technology services to the Partnership Center, effective February 1, 2005.

Caracole is proud to have spearheaded the development of these vital technology services for nonprofits. We are delighted the Partnership Center will carry on this important work, as we focus exclusively on our original mission of providing housing for persons with HIV/AIDS.
