2004 AVOC Red Ribbon Walk

Saturday, September 15, 2004 was the 15th Annual AVOC Red Ribbon Walk. The combination of beautiful weather and walkers passionate about people living with HIV/AIDS in our community made this year's walk one of their most successful ever.

Hundreds of people turned out for the scenic five-mile riverfront walk -- which covers two states (Ohio and Kentucky) and three cities (Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport), and crosses the Ohio River twice, all in a pleasant morning stroll.

Once again, Caracole staff, board members, and volunteers joined together to form Team Caracole -- and we raised over $4,000 in pledges.

It was a great day, and a great way to raise money for HIV/AIDS support services and education programs in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Caracole congratulates AVOC on yet another successful Red Ribbon walk!
