Caracole's mission is simple: to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
Caracole's symbol is a shell: a living, growing shelter. Like this shell, Caracole provides a home that grows to meet the changing needs of people with HIV/AIDS. In 1988 we had only one house where people with HIV/AIDS could live the last months of their lives with dignity. Today we are meeting the needs of hundreds of individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS through an array of housing and supportive services.
