Residential Assistants |
Visit with residents and assist with household chores from 6:00pm-10:00pm,
Sunday-Thursday at Carcole House. Requires CPR training, an annual
TB test and a commitment of 1-4 shifts per month over the course of
a year. |
Group Facilitators |
Lead informational sessions for the residents of the Recovery Community
that will provide meaningful life-skills to help clients acquire self-sufficiency. |
Individual Therapies |
Certified or registered complementary therapists to contribute a
skill such as massage or Reiki to aid in holistic personal growth
for the residents of Caracole House or the Recovery Community. |
Volunteer Cooks |
Provide meals for the residents of Caracole House and Caracole Recovery
Community (no more than 22 people) on Monday, Tuesday or Friday at
5:00pm. |
Transportation Specialists |
Assist clients in the rental subsidy program with getting to appointments,
going to the grocery, running errands during business hours, etc.
A valid driver's license, auto insurance and annual TB test are required. |
Donations Pick-up |
Assist with picking up or dropping off large item donations like
furniture, etc., or helping a client move into a new apartment during
business hours. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with access
to a pick-up truck or a moving van; a valid driver's license and auto
insurance are required. |
Group Projects |
A group activity can include a variety of activities such as painting,
yard work or preparing a special meal. Think about what you and a
group of your friends could do to make an impact on the clients of
Caracole. |
Special Events Volunteers |
Assist with preparing and managing Caracole events and fundraisers
throughout the year |
