Join us for our second annual CaraConference, a regional educational event focused on the intersection of public health and HIV/AIDS.

This year's conference, Coordinated Community Response for Greater Public Health, will address the role social determinants of health play in public health and how prevention and response programs can help prevent disease and promote safety, health and well-being in our communities.

Hear from national and regional public health experts and providers on the practices and interventions they’ve implemented to reduce risk, improve health and positively change the outcomes of individuals in their communities. 
   

Topics include:

  • How Ohio law and policy impacts public health and HIV

  • What outreach workers do to address community needs

  • Regional HIV cluster detection and response

  • Reducing high-risk behaviors and improving health with harm reduction

  • The importance of U=U and PrEP in getting to zero

  • Narcan training
