Testing experience:

We take every precaution to ensure a safe experience. Masks are required; we have them if you don't have one. Hand sanitizer is provided for your use prior to testing.

HIV testing is conducted as a finger stick blood test. Expect the process from arrival to departure to take 20 to 25 minutes.

HCV testing is conducted as a finger stick blood test. Expect the process from arrival to departure to take 20 to 25 minutes.

Whether you are living with HIV or interested in protecting your sexual health, Caracole is here for YOU. We always provides a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment for our clients.
  • If your HIV test is positive, our case management team can give you confidential services, explain HIV/AIDS, what your test results mean, what kind of treatment is available and how to access medication. If you qualify for housing assistance, we can provide a safe place for you to live or financial help for you and your family to live in your own home.

  • If your HIV test is negative and you want to keep an HIV-negative status, our prevention team offers one-on-one conversations about HIV and how to best protect yourself, including safer sex practices—like the use of PrEP/PEP, internal and external condoms, dental dams, etc.
